Bio: About me…hmmmmm
My name is Gina Kauffman Miller and the blog title epitomizes my dream.
Currently, my husband Terry a retired UPS driver runs a successful shipping company from our home and I just opened a private esthetics studio in a historic building on Main St. in Albion, NY population 5, 908. Some may think me crazy for starting a new career at age 55 but I just love making women feel great about themselves.
Out here in cow country in our two stop light town women are still women who care about how they look. We have no interest in botox and plastic surgery but we still crave good skin care and beauty enhancing treatments but we prefer products without artificial ingredients and would rather not have to go to the city where we are made to feel like country bumpkins because we love our small communities, our families and all the home arts!
The home arts have always been a love of mine. Cooking, baking, canning, preserving, cleaning, decorating, sewing, quilting, embroidering, rug making, knitting, crocheting, gardening, re-purposing you name it I like it. My home is my sanctuary and I’ve no desire to escape.
Over the past few years I’ve shared my projects and adventures on Facebook with friends and family. Many of them have urged me to start a blog so they could refer to my recipes and how to’s. Sooo here I am.
Another adventure….blogging. Oh and BTW I love technology, photography and videography.
Someday, I plan to retire and pursue my dream of becoming a full time Happy Homemaker! But in the meantime thank you for taking the time to read about me. Now let’s see where this takes us.
